Health-care companies fell amid fears that health insurers would remain in regulatory crosshairs during the election season.
Michigan's attorney general filed an antitrust suit against the state's largest health insurer Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, citing monopolistic pricing practices.
Among publicly traded health insurers, Humana and UnitedHealth Group lost ground.
