Elastic (ESTC) said Thursday it launched the nightshift AI SRE, an AI agent built into Elastic Observability that uses complete context from the entire stack to detect and investigate issues for evidence-based remediation.

The AI agent rules out dead ends, follows connected signals, evaluates possible root causes and recommends a fix once the root cause is identified, the company said.

Elastic said AI SRE continuously learns from every incident and assesses the environment, correlating alerts and anomalies into findings for engineers.

AI SRE is available in private preview on Elastic Observability Serverless, with a plan for a technical preview later in 2026, the company said.
