Webull (BULL) shares fell 20% in premarket activity after a bipartisan House panel report said the company represents a national security risk as its ownership, technology, workforce and data flows are linked to China, CNBC reported Wednesday, citing the committee's report.

The committee alleges that Webull's China-based operations could expose American investor data and capital to Chinese laws and demands, according to the report.

Webull did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
