REA Group (ASX:REA) said national new listings fell 2% year over year in the fiscal first quarter, in line with the company's guidance, but remain comparable with long-term averages, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Melbourne and Sydney led new listing volumes in fiscal 2026, but Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide have now started to outperform, per the filing.
"We continue to see a two-speed market with the smaller capitals offsetting the quieter conditions in Melbourne and Sydney in Q1," REA Group said.
The company will report fiscal first-quarter financial results in November.
