2151 GMT - Australian stocks look set to rise at the open, following a positive lead from U.S. equities. Local stock futures are up by 0.3% ahead of Tuesday's open, suggesting that the S&P/ASX 200 will continue to edge further away from the four-month low it hit late last week. The benchmark index has added about 0.8% across its past two sessions. Major U.S. indices advanced even as the yield on 10-year U.S. Treasurys touched a fresh 24-year high. The Nasdaq Composite rose 1.1% to close at a record, the S&P 500 added 0.7%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 0.2%.
