Century Communities (CCS) acquired substantially all assets of HistoryMaker Homes, a Texas homebuilder that operates exclusively in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the company said Thursday.
The acquisition will triple its community count in the market and expand its pipeline of residential lots.
HistoryMaker's leadership and employees will join Century, while construction, sales and home closings will continue as scheduled, the company said.
Century said it will also maintain a land development relationship with HistoryMaker's sister firm, Jabez Development.
