Encompass Health Opens Rehabilitation Hospital in Bangor, Maine

Encompass Health (EHC) said late Tuesday it has opened the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Bangor in Bangor, Maine and the 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital is now accepting patients.
The hospital offers essential rehabilitation services to help patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations and complex orthopedic conditions regain functional ability, independence and quality of life, the company said.
Patients receive physical, occupational and speech therapy based on their individual needs.
