AppFolio (APPF) faces moderating unit growth amid higher interest rates and financing pressures, limiting further upside, UBS Securities said.
The company's shares have recovered about 40% from their June lows, and the current valuation reflects a more moderate growth outlook, the analysts said in a note Tuesday.
The analysts lowered their 2027 revenue growth estimate to 16% from 17%, versus 17.5% consensus, as their checks and industry data point to slower unit growth. Higher interest rates and financing pressures are creating headwinds for unit growth, they added.
"While we remain constructive on AppFolio's value-added services opportunities, we believe moderating unit growth leaves less room for upside to our estimates and consensus expectations," the analysts said.
UBS downgraded AppFolio to neutral from buy and raised its price target to $220 from $200.
Shares of AppFolio were down 4% in Wednesday afternoon trading.
