Japan Hotel REIT's Hotel Revenue Edges Up 5.3% in July

Japan Hotel REIT Investment (TYO:8985) said its 29 hotels generated total revenue of 7.02 billion yen in July, up 5.3% from a year earlier, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.
Hotel occupancy reached 83.1% in July, up 5% year over year.
The average daily rate gained 0.1% to 21,806 yen, while revenue per available room (RevPAR) rose 5.1% to 18,119 yen.
The REIT expects RevPAR in September to surpass last year's comparable figure.
