Zeotech Says Report Confirms Queensland Landfill Field Trials Delivered Average of Over 90% Lower Methane Emissions

Zeotech (ASX:ZEO) said a report from Griffith University confirmed that at its field trials of its methane emissions control product conducted at the North Burnett Regional Council landfill in Queensland one of its zeoteCH biofilter products delivered average methane emissions of over 90% lower than untreated control cells under real-world landfill conditions, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The company is developing a zeolite-based methane mitigation technology for deployment within landfill cover systems to adsorb and eliminate methane emissions.

Its shares fell over 1% in recent trading on Tuesday.
