MONTRÉAL, Aug. 24, 2026 /CNW/ -- Geekco Technologies Corporation (the "Corporation" or "Geekco") (TSXV: GKO) is very pleased to announce the appointment of Marie Ginette Lepage as director of Geekco subject to the usual approvals from the regulatory authorities. Marie Ginette Lepage is a seasoned C-suite executive with more than 30 years of experience leading growth, operational excellence and enterprise transformation. She has successfully led billion-dollar businesses, built high-performing organizations and delivered sustainable growth in dynamic and highly competitive markets. Ms. Lepage has built her career helping organizations accelerate performance, unlock new growth opportunities and navigate complex business transformations. She is recognized for aligning strategy, people and operations to deliver measurable business outcomes. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer at Cogeco Communications, where she was a key strategic partner to the CEO and Executive Committee. She led the company's enterprise transformation agenda, strengthened organizational execution and helped position the business for long-term growth. Previously, as Senior Vice President, Mobile Strategy, she developed Cogeco's wireless growth strategy, established strategic partnerships and supported the company's expansion into a new business. Prior to Cogeco, Ms. Lepage held several executive leadership positions at Videotron, including Vice President, Broadcasting and Content, where she led a business generating more than $1 billion in annual revenue. She also led one of the company's most important strategic projects: the launch of Videotron's wireless business, one of the company's most significant strategic growth initiatives.

Ms. Lepage holds an MBA from HEC Montréal, a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations from Université de Montréal, and a University Certification in Corporate Governance $(ASC)$ from the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés at Université Laval.

Ms. Lepage's extensive leadership and governance experience will further strengthen Geekco's Board as the Corporation continues its growth and transformation.

Geekco also announces that Michel Timperio will transition from the Board to the role of strategic consultant, where he will continue contributing to the Corporation. Geekco expresses its appreciation for his valuable service as a director.
