Cheniere Energy to Deliver Cash Flow Growth as LNG Capacity Expands, RBC Says

Cheniere Energy (LNG) is expected to deliver steady cash flow growth as new LNG capacity starts up, while stronger operations, firm global LNG prices and further expansion projects could support additional upside, RBC Capital Markets said in a note Monday.

Improving reliability, shorter maintenance periods and plant upgrades should continue to lift production, while additional optimization could add further earnings support, according to the note.

Tight global LNG supply following lower exports from Qatar and the UAE has supported pricing, while Cheniere's flexible contracts allow it to send more cargoes to higher-priced markets, RBC said.

The investment firm said it expects Cheniere's growth pipeline to remain a major driver, with more Corpus Christi capacity coming online and Sabine Pass Train 7 moving toward a possible final investment decision in early 2027.

RBC raised its 2026 and 2027 adjusted EBITDA forecasts to $8.25 billion and $7.90 billion, respectively, maintained its outperform rating and increased its price target to $319 from $300.
