CoVolt Power, which builds solar power projects, battery energy storage systems and high-voltage infrastructure, filed for an initial public offering with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company didn't provide an expected size for its IPO, nor did it offer an expected price range for shares. CoVolt said it applied to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol KVLT.
CoVolt said demand for its services is rising, especially as power systems deal with the construction and power demands of new data centers. For the year ended Dec. 31, 2025, the company said, revenue grew 67% from the year earlier to $739.4 million.
As of June 30, the company had a backlog of $3.6 billion, it said.
Entities affiliated with Davidson Kempner, as well as entities affiliated with Man Group, are listed among the company's principal and selling shareholders, as are ASSF Holdings and Avenue MIC Power Opportunities Master Fund.
Along with the company, selling shareholders will be participating in the IPO.
