Fortive hiked it quarterly dividend by 17% to 7 cents per share from 6 cents previously.
The board of directors approved the increase, which is equivalent to a dividend yield of 0.5%, based on Fortive's latest closing share price of $59.40 per share.
The technology company said Thursday the dividend will be payable on Sept. 25 to common stockholders of record on Sept. 4.
