GE Vernova (GEV) said Monday it is launching a medium-voltage, uninterruptible power supply, or MV-UPS, designed to provide stable, continuous power to AI data centers and other energy-intensive facilities.

The company said the system combines power conversion, controls and energy storage to maintain stable voltage and frequency while buffering sudden changes in facility demand.

GE Vernova expects to begin shipping MV-UPS systems in mid-2027, with the first project expected to be energized in late 2027.
