Uber Technologies (UBER) said Monday it has entered into a strategic partnership with Zipline to accelerate drone delivery in the US.
Later this year, Uber Eats customers will have the option to receive their order via Zipline's autonomous drones, Uber said.
Uber said it will also make a strategic investment in Zipline as part of an effort to reach 1 million drone deliveries per day by the end of 2029.
