TJX Companies (TJX) reported fiscal Q2 earnings Wednesday of $1.36 per diluted share, up $1.10 from the prior year.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.18.
Net sales for the quarter ended Aug. 1 were $15.18 billion, up from $14.40 billion a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $15.16 billion.
The company said it expects fiscal Q3 diluted EPS in the range of $1.30 to $1.32.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $1.34.
Comparable sales for fiscal Q3 are projected to be up 2% to 3%.
For fiscal 2027, the company raised its guidance and now expects diluted EPS to be in the range of $5.15 to $5.20, compared with the prior range of $5.08 to $5.15.
Analysts polled by FactSet expect $5.22.
The company continues to expect comparable sales for the full fiscal year to be 3% to 4%.
Shares of the company were down 3.6% in premarket activity Wednesday.
