Fubon Financial Board OKs Corporate Bond Redemption; Shares Drop 4%

Fubon Financial's (TPE:2881) board approved the redemption of its 105-1 perpetual cumulative subordinated corporate bonds, subject to approval from the Insurance Bureau, according to a Friday Taiwan Exchange filing.
Shares dropped about 4% in Monday's late morning trade.
Upon receiving regulatory approval, Fubon Life will exercise its redemption right in accordance with the bond's terms and conditions, it said.
