Jiangsu Azure (SHE:002245) attributable profit rose 53% to about 511 million yuan in the first half from 333.1 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
Earnings per share at the lithium battery products maker increased to 0.2974 yuan from 0.2888 yuan in the prior-year period.
Operating revenue grew 30% year over year to 4.86 billion yuan from 3.73 billion yuan.
Shares slipped 2% during afternoon trading on Tuesday.
