Update: Blue Ridge Shares Rise After Entering Buyout Deal With HomeTrust Bancshares

Blue Ridge Bankshares (BRBS) shares rose 9% on Monday after HomeTrust Bancshares (HTB) said it agreed to acquire Blue Ridge in an all-stock deal valued at around $448.1 million.

Blue Ridge shareholders will receive 0.086 HomeTrust common shares for each share held, implying a value of $4.28 per share, the company said.

HomeTrust stockholders will own approximately 65% of the combined company, while Blue Ridge shareholders will hold about 35%, and the transaction is scheduled to close in early Q1 2027, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals, HomeTrust Bancshares said.
