Alphabet (GOOGL, GOOG) has mandated banks for its first potential Australian dollar bond sale, with the technology company weighing four maturities ranging from three to 20 years, Reuters reported Monday, citing a message from one of the bookrunners.
The 3- and 5-year notes could carry fixed or floating rates, while the 10- and 20-year securities would be fixed-rate bonds, a Reuters report said.
Alphabet could seek about $5 billion Australian dollars ($3.56 billion) through the offering, with initial price guidance potentially coming as early as Tuesday and pricing possible Wednesday, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
Alphabet did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
