REA's Bulls See Opportunity in Cyclical Weakness

Dow Jones

0438 GMT - REA Group's bulls at Morgan Stanley tell clients that times of cyclical weakness such as the one facing Australia's housing market are exactly when they should be buying the stock. They think the market is unnecessarily fixated on the debate over fiscal 2027 listings volumes. They acknowledge potential risks around consensus estimates, but tell clients in a note that the key driver of the News Corp-controlled property advertiser's longer-term earnings growth is its ability to deliver double-digit rises in price and yield. MS stays overweight on the stock and raises its target price 2.2% to 230.00 Australian dollars. Shares are up 1.3% at A$179.67. News Corp is the parent company of Dow Jones & Co., publisher of The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires.
