Samsara (IOT) said Wednesday it launched the Samsara Fuel Command Center to consolidate fleet fuel monitoring, routing, and payment controls into one interface.
The system combines total fuel spend tracking with vendor recommendations and card access rules to reduce waste and misuse, the company said.
The software uses vehicle location data to verify card transactions and prevent fraud, and also provides navigation routing to direct drivers toward negotiated rates and preferred fueling stations, Samsara said.
Shares of Samsara were up 1.4% in early Wednesday trading.
