Microchip Technology's (MCHP) former Chief Operating Officer Richard Simoncic has been named chief executive officer of Menlo Microsystems, effective immediately, Menlo Microsystems said Wednesday.
Simoncic was with Microchip Technology for 35 years. He succeeds Russ Garcia, who was CEO of Menlo Micro for nearly 10 years.
Menlo Micro said Simoncic will focus on growth, customer engagement, and product strategy.
