Semtech Adds 2 Transceivers to LoRa Plus Portfolio

Semtech (SMTC) said Wednesday it has released the LR2022 and LR2012 transceivers to expand its LoRa Plus product line.
The components support Internet-of-Things operations ranging from sub-GigaHertz networks to global tracking with satellite connections, the company said.
The hardware maintains backward compatibility with legacy systems and has data processing rates up to 125 kilobits per second for LoRa and 2 mbps for FSK applications.
Shares of the company declined more than 2% in Wednesday premarket activity.
