Median Home Price in California Slips Below $900,000

1424 ET - The statewide median home price in California fell below $900,000 in July, to $887,680, the California Association of Realtors says. The latest figure is below the $904,640 median price reported in June and slightly above the $885,180 reported in July of last year, the Association added. Sales in July were 6% lower than the revised 279,880 homes sold in June, and 1.1% higher from the downwardly revised 260,250-unit pace recorded in July 2025. Pending home sales were slower in July from June, dropping 6.8%, but were 1.0% July 2025, the group says.
