JS Solar Accepts MYR18.1 Million Solar Power Project; Shares Jump 5%

JS Solar (KLSE:JSSOLAR) has accepted a contract worth 18.1 million ringgit from renewable energy firm GSPARX, according to a Monday filing to the Malaysian stock exchange.

The company's shares were up over 5% in Tuesday's trade.

The contract is for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 4,652.5 kWp building-integrated photovoltaic and rooftop solar system, and a 3,856 kWh battery energy storage system, at AEON Mall Seremban 2.

The six-month contract is scheduled to be completed by Feb. 19, 2027.

The acceptance of the order is expected to contribute positively to the earnings, earnings per share and net assets of the company for the financial year ending March 31, 2027.
