China Communications Construction's New Contract Value Falls 9% in H1

China Communications Construction's (HKG:1800, SHA:601800) value of new contracts in the first half fell 8.9% to 902.9 billion yuan from 991.1 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a weekend disclosure on the Hong Kong bourse.
The infrastructure builder's Hong Kong shares rose over 1% during Monday's late-morning trade.
New contracts from overseas amounted to 241.7 billion yuan, rising 21% from the same period in the prior year.
