Lunnon Metals' Western Australia Gold Mine Delivers Strongest Monthly Result in July; Shares Gain 3%

Lunnon Metals (ASX:LM8) said total ore mined at its Lady Herial gold mine in Western Australia reached 76,937 tonnes at 1.79 grams per tonne grade of gold for 4,439 ounces of the precious metal, representing the strongest monthly result to date, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

For July, Lunnon Metals invoiced Gold Fields unit St Ives Gold Mining about AU$14.8 million for the delivery of 4,039 ounces of gold under as ore purchase agreement, versus direct costs of AU$2.5 million, per the filing.

Open pit mining operations were completed ahead of the feasibility study schedule, with the last parcel of gold ore delivered to the mine ore pad on Aug. 8, Lunnon Metals said.

The company's shares gained 3% in recent Thursday trade.
