Shanghai Pudong Development Bank's H1 Profit, Revenue Up 4%

Shanghai Pudong Development Bank (SHA:600000) posted a 4.1% year-over-year increase in attributable profit in the first half to 31 billion yuan from 30 billion yuan.

Basic earnings per share fell 10% to 0.89 yuan from 0.99 yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse filing late Wednesday.

Revenue climbed 3.6% to 93.8 billion yuan from 90.6 billion yuan a year earlier.

Net interest margin stabilized and rebounded during the first half, the Chinese commercial lender said without providing actual figures.

At the end of June, the ratio of its non-performing loans decreased to 1.25% from 1.26% at the start of the year.
