Uber Technologies (UBER) is working on a rides option for children 10 to 12 years old, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing publicly available code from the latest version of Uber's iOS app.

The potential feature would allow adults to add a "tween" to their Uber Family profile and require that an adult be present during pick-up or drop-off, the report said. Uber currently has a service for teens 13 to 17 years old.

Uber did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
