0749 GMT - CapitaLand Investment is keen to do more in private credit, aiming to prioritize the asset class as it is sees more demand for related products, according to Group CEO Lee Chee Koon. The Singapore asset manager's second credit fund was oversubscribed, and it is moving to set up a third fund, he says in a briefing. CapitaLand Investment is also open to merger and acquisitions linked to private credit, but plans to remain selective as such deals could be expensive, Lee says. He expects the company to remain focused on real-estate private credit, which is its strength and "can give greatest comfort to the investor."
