An Hui Wenergy (SHE:000543) called for the redemption of super short-term commercial paper worth 400 million yuan, according to a Friday disclosure on the Shenzhen bourse.
The Chinese power company's shares closed 2% lower.
The bonds, which have an interest rate of 1.56%, will be redeemed Aug. 21 for 403.4 million yuan.
