CAVA (CAVA) shares were up over 11% in Wednesday's premarket activity after the company reported higher-than-expected Q2 earnings and sales that also beat market expectations.

The company reported fiscal Q2 earnings late Tuesday of $0.19 per diluted share, up from $0.16 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.18.

Revenue for the 12 weeks ended July 12 was $368.4 million, up from $280.6 million a year earlier.
