ST Engineering Bags New Orders Worth SG$2.9 Billion in Q2

Singapore Technologies Engineering (SGX:S63) received new orders worth SG$2.9 billion in the second quarter, according to a Friday filing to the Singapore Exchange.

Of the total, the company secured orders of SG$1.2 billion from the commercial aerospace segment across its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and aerostructures and systems (A&S) businesses.

It also won orders worth SG$1.2 billion from the defense and public security segment, and SG$500 million from the urban solutions and satcom segment.

Including these new wins and the recognition of the $1.3 billion New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA) E-ZPass Services contract during the quarter, the group's order book increased to SG$35.7 billion at the end of June.
