President Trump's media company on Monday reported that it has signed up "more than ten" customers to a new service providing traders with faster access to posts from top Truth Social accounts.
"Our new Truth API product is already generating revenue, with more than ten customer agreements signed to date," Trump Media Interim Chief Executive Kevin McGurn said in a news release tied to the firm's second-quarter earnings report.
Government watchdogs and congressional Democrats have criticized the service, arguing that the president is selling investors access to market-moving information.
Trump Media's results for the second quarter, in which it posted $238 million in net losses, didn't include revenue linked to the product launched Aug. 1. The company planned to charge Truth API subscribers $100,000 a month, or $60,000 a month if they commit for years, The Wall Street Journal previously reported.
