Fusion New Material to Invest 500 Million Yuan in Semiconductor Fund

Changzhou Fusion New Material (SHA:688503) plans to invest additional funds of 500 million yuan to join a semiconductor partnership fund as a limited partner, according to a Wednesday disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.

Shanghai Guoju Tonghui Enterprise Management Consulting Partnership (Limited Partnership) focuses its investment primarily on the semiconductor materials sector.

The fund's capital increased from 30 million yuan to 700 million yuan after the inclusion of Changzhou Fusion and an additional investment by another company.

The photovoltaic silver paste manufacturer will hold 71.43% of Guoju Tonghui's capital.

The company's shares rose 1% during the morning trade.
