Take-Two Interactive Software, the videogame maker, held fiscal 2027 guidance steady even with the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto VI.

For the quarter ended June 30, the parent of Rockstar Games, posted a net loss of $34.1 million, or 18 cents a share, narrower than Wall Street expectations for a loss of 20 cents.

Net bookings, or the amount of products and services sold digitally or physically during the period, fell 3% to $1.39 billion, just above the analyst consensus call for $1.36 billion, according to FactSet.

For fiscal 2027, Take-Two reiterated its forecast from May for net bookings of between $8 billion to $8.2 billion. Wall Street currently expects net bookings of $8.53 billion in fiscal 2027, according to FactSet.

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to be released in November, which should be good news for Take-Two investors. Pre-orders began on June 25.

Take-Two stock gained 0.2% to $233 in premarket trading on Friday after ending Thursday down 1%. Shares of the videogame maker have fallen 9% this year.
