Match Group Attracts Fewer Paying Users

1709 ET - Fewer users are willing to pay for Match Group's dating apps, adding pressure to the company's latest quarterly results. Match's paying users declined 6% to 13.3 million overall, with the metric declining 5% at Tinder, the company's biggest dating app, and 21% in its E&E segment, which includes brands like OkCupid and Plenty Of Fish. Hinge, meanwhile, saw paying users climb 17%. However, revenue per paying user increased 4% at both Tinder and Hinge.
