Nanya Technology to Inject $2.1 Billion Into Overseas Unit

Nanya Technology's (TPE:2408) board approved a capital injection of $2.1 billion into its subsidiary, Nanya Technology International, according to a Wednesday filing with the Taiwan Exchange.

The DRAM memory chip maker will make the investment via internal funds to reduce foreign exchange hedging costs.

Following the injection, the company's investment stands at $4.8 billion in the unit.
