Wendy's (WEN) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Friday of $0.18 per share, down from $0.29 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.16.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 29 was $570.6 million, up from $560.9 million a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $557.1 million.
The company said it withdrew its 2026 outlook while it formulates a turnaround plan. Wendy's also announced a dividend reduction to $0.07 per share from $0.14, payable on Sept. 15 to shareholders of record on Sept. 1.
The company's shares were down 3.2% in premarket activity.
