Enerflex Shares Drop After Q2 Earnings, Revenue Fall

Enerflex (EFXT) shares fell 3.6% in early Thursday trading after the company reported lower Q2 earnings and revenue.

The company reported earnings of $0.25 per share, down from $0.49 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $0.31.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $582 million, down from $615 million a year earlier.

Analysts expected $606.8 million.

The company declared a quarterly dividend of 0.0425 Canadian dollars ($0.03) per share, payable Sept. 2 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 19.
