Aptiv (APTV) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $1.63 per diluted share, up from $1.31 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.42.
Net sales for the quarter ended June 30 were $3.27 billion, compared with $3.20 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expected $3.31 billion.
The company said it expects Q3 adjusted EPS of $1.25 to $1.35 on net sales of $3.12 billion to $3.22 billion. Analysts expect $1.60 in adjusted EPS on revenue of $3.30 billion.
For 2026, Aptiv cut its outlook and now expects adjusted EPS of $5.60 to $5.80, from $5.70 to $6.10 previously. Net sales for the year is now forecast between $12.60 billion and $12.80 billion, from the previous range of $12.80 billion to $13.20 billion. Analysts expect adjusted EPS of $5.91 on revenue of $13.27 billion.
Aptiv shares were down more than 8% premarket Tuesday.
