Core Lithium Receives Proceeds of Around $44 Million in Tranche 2 Convertible Note Funding After FIRB Approval, Shares Up 4%

Core Lithium (ASX:CXO) received proceeds of an around $44 million tranche two convertible note funding under its strategic funding package after the Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) approval condition was satisfied, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The second tranche is part of a $70 million convertible note facility provided by InfraVia CMF Invest and Glencore Australia Holdings. The funding package supports the restart and development of the Finniss lithium operation in the Northern Territory.

Its shares climbed 4% in recent trading on Tuesday.
