These Analysts Slash Their Forecasts On Universal Health Services Following Q2 Earnings

Universal Health Services Inc (NYSE:UHS) reported upbeat second-quarter financial results and cut its FY26 adjusted EPS guidance, after the closing bell on Monday.

Universal Health reported quarterly earnings of $5.98 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $5.96 per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $4.638 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $4.577 billion.

Universal Health Services lowered its FY2026 adjusted EPS guidance from $22.64-$24.52 to $22.28-$23.65.

Universal Health shares gained 0.6% to trade at $167.14 on Wednesday.

These analysts made changes to their price targets on Universal Health following earnings announcement.

  • Baird analyst Michael Ha maintained the stock with a Neutral and lowered the price target from $204 to $166.
  • Guggenheim analyst Jason Cassorla maintained the stock with a Buy and lowered the price target from $195 to $189.
