Amphenol Q2 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Rise; Q3 Outlook Set

Amphenol (APH) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Wednesday of $1.35 per diluted share, up from $0.81 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.18.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $8.76 billion, up from $5.65 billion a year earlier.

Analysts expected $8.26 billion.

The company expects Q3 adjusted earnings of $1.40 to $1.42. Analysts expect $1.27.

Meanwhile, revenue for the quarter is projected to be between $9.3 billion and $9.4 billion. Analysts expect $8.67 billion.

Shares of Amphenol rose more than 6% in recent Wednesday pre-bell activity.
