Norwegian Cruise Line's Outlook Implies Pressure Could Persist into 2027

0920 ET - Norwegian Cruise Line's guidance implies that 4Q results will be significantly lower than Wall Street has been expecting, Truist analysts say in a note. "The implied 4Q guide will call into question if 1Q27 consensus net yield expectations are too high (we believe they are)," the analysts say. All three major public cruise companies have flagged soft demand from consumers and headwinds from geopolitical uncertainty caused by the war with Iran. The analysts say Norwegian's 2Q results were in line with expectations, but yields are facing pressure in 2H and beyond. Norwegian Cruise Line slides 7% premarket.
