Archer-Daniels-Midland (ADM) said Thursday it plans to invest in four US facilities to expand oilseed crush capacity amid growing demand for renewable fuels and vegetable oil markets.

The initial investments will unlock about 700,000 metric tons of oilseed crush capacity annually, equating to over 25 million bushels of additional demand for farmers, the firm said.

The facilities are at Frankfort, Indiana; Deerfield, Missouri; Lincoln, Nebraska; Spiritwood, North Dakota, it said, adding that
