Bloom Energy raised its fiscal 2026 revenue and adjusted earnings per share guidance, as second quarter sales and profit climbed.
The provider of fuel-cell technology posted a profit of $196.3 million, or 62 cents a share, compared with a loss of $42.6 million, or 18 cents a share, a year earlier.
On an adjusted basis, earnings were 78 cents a share. Analysts polled by Fact expected 41 cents.
Revenue more than doubled to $1.07 billion from $401.2 million in the same period a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expected $826.1 million. The increase in sales was driven by a rise in product revenue to $935.4 million, the company said.
Chief Executive KR Sridhar said that demand for Bloom's solutions has accelerated.
"All the major US hyperscalers and over a dozen US neoclouds, AI labs, and colocation data center operators have validated and approved our power solutions for their AI factories, Sridhar said. "Bloom is now a standard for AI onsite power."
For the full year, Bloom raised its guidance, projecting revenue between $3.9 billion and $4.2 billion and adjusted earnings per share between $2.55 and $2.85. Analysts are expecting revenue of $3.73 billion and adjusted earnings of $2.15 a share.
