Woodside Energy Group Q2 Operating Revenue Rises, Production Volume Falls

Woodside Energy Group (ASX:WDS) reported second-quarter operating revenue of $4.19 billion, up 28% from $3.28 billion a year earlier, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company's quarterly production volume hit 41.3 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMboe), down 18% from 50.1 MMboe in the year-ago period, per the filing.

Its second-quarter sales volume also fell year over year to 48 MMboe from 54.5 MMboe, although the average realized price improved to $85 per barrel of oil equivalent from $59.

Woodside tightened its 2026 production volume guidance to between 174 and 185 MMboe from a previous range of 172 to 186 MMboe.

Additionally, the company said its Scarborough energy project remains on track for first LNG cargo in the fourth quarter, while the Trion project is targeting first oil in 2028.
